Andreas Nilsson and Daniel Nilsson, founders of AQUALON Waterjet Technology Sweden AB, are one of ten finalists in the South region for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2023 award. After an extensive nomination process and interviews, it is clear that Daniel and Andreas are two of the entrepreneurs who have gone to the regional final on November 29. The winner then advances to the national final.
EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is one of the world''s largest and most prestigious awards for entrepreneurs. The competition is organized in around 60 countries and for the 28th time the Swedish edition is being held. The nomination process has now ended and there have been close to 500 nominations from all over the country. After in-depth interviews with the entrepreneurs, ten finalists per region have been selected and they will proceed to regional finals which will be decided in six cities in November.

In each region, the winners are selected by an external and independent jury consisting of key people in the regional business community as well as entrepreneurs who have previously won the award. The jury examines the ten finalists based on four different criteria; influence, entrepreneurship, purpose and growth.
in addition to the main prize, the following prizes are awarded; Entrepreneur winning women, Young entrepreneurship of the year, best international growth. All winners then proceed to the national final in Stockholm City Hall on 1 February 2023.

EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is one of the world''s leading awards for entrepreneurs. The competition started in the USA in 1986 and in Sweden the award began to be awarded in 1995. It is the first international award for entrepreneurs who build successful companies with clear visions and good leadership skills. The competition is conducted at regional, national and international level in more than 140 cities in more than 60 countries. An independent jury judges the entrepreneurs according to the criteria of influence, entrepreneurial spirit, purpose and growth.
